Hey, hey!
I'm Erika Armstrong,
A 25-year tattoo veteran, award-winning custom painter, airbrush realist, and creative concept developer with extensive experience as a cosmetic field technician. As an artist and creative businesswoman, I’ve learned every hard lesson the industry has to offer — and now I teach them so you don’t have to.
My world revolves around five core passions:
Tattooing | Custom Paint & Airbrushing | Creative Concept Development | My 1940 Ford Truck | My Chihuahuas.
I live for colour, paint, artwork, alternative music, and the pure joy of creation. These are my wholesome creative obsessions.
Most days, you’ll find me deep in a project with my hands covered in ink or candy paint, completely in the zone and far happier there than anywhere else. I’m a doer, not a talker — an all-rounder who can transform a blank canvas, a piece of skin, or a 1940s fender into something that stops people in their tracks.
From realism and surrealism to Chicano, portraiture, and biomechanical work — if it can take ink or paint, I’ve spent the last 25 years mastering it.
This is my official home online — the only place that is truly me.
Everything I create, teach, and offer lives right here:

– Erika aka ‘Flossy’

She rolled into my life when I was fourteen — a tired, forgotten shell that became my strongest connection to my father after a hard road immigrating from England to New Zealand.
After my mother passed in 2005, she became the glue holding what remained of my family together.
Over the decades, we transformed her into one of New Zealand’s most awarded, fully hand-painted 1940 Ford trucks.
I later brought her to Australia, attended shows, and became a female ambassador on a radio program. The truck was also featured on Count’s Kustoms YouTube channel in the USA.
Then disaster struck.
The insurance company low-balled the claim. A restorer delivered shockingly poor work. Now she sits — still gorgeous in spirit, but wounded — while I fight through the courts to make it right.
This isn’t just about a truck.
It’s about holding corporations and cowboys accountable when they destroy something you’ve poured your life into.

She’s my Cinderella.
And I’m making damn sure this story gets the ending it deserves.
